The Citys Best Opportunity...! Pegasus are recruiting for an Oracle Financials Functional Business Analyst to join a fantastic end user organisation fixed location and financially rewarding opportunity.The ability to lead the Finance community through project phases, translating business requirements into system solutions and resolving business issues is essential. The role will involve a mixture of providing business and IT consultancy, the individual must have good interpersonal, facilitation and communication skills. This is a subject matter expert of Oracle Financials, someone perhaps with excellent functional and potentially technical skills will be advantageous, You will be a strong innovator with excellent business analysis experience. Responsibilities: You will be mainly responsible for providing support across financial modules of Oracle eBusiness Suite 11i including General Ledger, Purchasing, Accounts Payables, Fixed Assets and GIS. You will also be required to take a lead role to migrate off of our current release 11i (possibly to R12 or Fusion Financials). Other responsibilities will include: Scoping, planning, estimation and implementation of effective finance systems enhancements and projects Develop, evaluate and recommend solutions to meet requirements Work alongside finance personnel to translate their needs into detailed functional specifications which meet these needs Effectively manage projects and initiatives to ensure timely delivery upon agreed expectations Keep abreast of developments in the Oracle Applications arena to provide input to future systems developments, and to advise and promote to the finance community on potential benefits Work with a degree of autonomy but under the overall direction of the European Finance Systems Manager Provide support to the existing Support & Admin functions within the Finance Systems team Effective engagement and collaboration with employees across all functions (e.g. Finance, IT, Operations, etc.) and levels (associates, managers, senior managers, etc) of the organization (Lifestyle Protection, Mortgage, HQ) and with third party suppliers Essential Skills and Qualifications: Minimum of 5+ years Oracle Financials experience with expertise across 3 or more of the following modules; General Ledger, Payables, Purchasing, Receivables, Fixed Assets, Cash Management. Minimum of 2 full project life cycles experience including solution roll-outs Oracle Financials (OF) knowledge is from a mix of both functional and (soft/strong) technical experience Experience and ability of effectively extracting data (using SQL) across multiple tables from OF Track record and ability to configure extensions and customisations in OF Ability to translate business needs into system solutions PEGASUS - UK's No1 Oracle Application e-business suite Recruiter
