Job Description

Oracle, Oracle Financial Functional Consultant, Oracle Financials Functional Consultant, Oracle Financials, Oracle Financial, Oracle Functional, Oracle, AR, AP, GL, FA, CM, Oracle Financials Functional Pegasus ERP are working with a Global End User organisation, who's head offices are based in the US, but have state of the art facilities in Lancaster, within the UK. They have a gap within their Oracle Applications team for an Oracle Financials Functional Consultant to come in and deliver complex solutions during a key period of exciting, but challenging projects. Responsibilities: Work with management to generate work plans. Recommend improvements for the business analysis process. Research tools to identify those that can best help serve the needs of users. Gather requirements, analyzes, create design documents, and performs impact analysis for application changes. Assist in Management of Projects and Implementations Develop solutions to leverage Oracle applications functionality for the Financials area and suggest improvements. Guides technical team in the development reports, conversions, interfaces and extensions for Oracle Understand and modify Application Configuration as required (includes system setups, flex-fields, workflow builder, custom library, profile options etc.). Assist users with problems and resolves issues independently. Create test plans, test cases, test scripts and performs functional testing Experience Experience in multiple IT-related positions of increasing responsibility. Detailed experience with three or more financial modules among General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), E-Business Tax, purchasing (PO), Sub-Ledger Accounting (SLA), and required experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) Developing custom WebAdi tools for data import into EBS Knowledge and experience with the implementation and support of Oracle Financials localizations to handle country-specific Tax and local GAAP requirements for one or more countries in the EMEA region, particularly France, Spain, Portugal, and the UK. Knowledge and experience with the implementation and support of outbound and inbound electronic payments and receipts files and processes. Strong systems/process orientation with demonstrated analytical thinking, organizational skills and problem-solving skills. Expertise with configuration and setups for Oracle Financials modules. Experience in lead support of software applications. Knowledge and familiarity in underlying Oracle ERP applications database architecture, as well as Oracle database and development tools (PL/SQL, SQL Plus, Forms, Reports).
