Great Opportunity..! Pegasus are currently working on behalf of a portfolio client...... we are looking for an Oracle Applications Technical Developer on the permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a first class end- user organisation. The purpose of the role: · Offer technical support to the business with regard to Oracle Applications · Develop and maintain Oracle reports to fit business requirements · Develop and maintain Oracle extracts to fit business requirements · Develop and maintain Oracle programs to fit business requirements · Develop the Oracle application to fit business requirements · Investigate problems with the Oracle Application and liaise with Oracle to obtain bug fixes. · Investigate existing bespoke programs and suggest amendments as necessary to get them to work with new business requirements · Develop other applications and solutions in the Financial Systems area to support the business needs. Skills required for the role: Must be able to work accurately, under pressure and to tight deadlines. Working as part of a team to support the financial systems and processes. Must be able to work methodically and to complete the required developments and bug fixes accurately ensuring code is written in most efficient way and to internally agreed standards. Document accurately ensuring full specification of the development/report is maintained. Manage migration process with DBA’s to ensure code is applied to relevant development environments and production as required. At least 5 years Oracle Financials experience and 5 years PLSQL, Oracle Reports, Oracle Workflow, OA Framework and Oracle Alerts, Experience of Oracle Release 12 preferred.
