Job Description

Oracle Financials Functional Lead, Oracle EBS, Oracle Ebsuiness Suite, Oracle Techno-Functional, Oracle Business Analyst, Releasxe 12, 11i, R12, Oracle Functional, Oracle Technical, GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, P2P, INV, OM, CIMA, SEPA, Lead Oracle Financials Functional Lead required for a Global End Client based in the Heart of Liverpool. Candidates should ideally have strong IT Finance (CIMA, SEPA, Accountancy background) coupled with Oracle Financials Functional experience. The role will require them to work with Senior stakeholders including the Chief Accounting Officer, Chief Finance Officer and other leaders to drive business improvement thorough implementation of a clear IT Finance strategy for the organization. Understanding and experience of implementing shared services would be an advantage. This is a highly visible role with the ability to make a real difference to the business. Candidates should be able to work with and deliver to the following internal customer groups: Accounting Function - comprising of External Reporting/Consolidations, FP&A, Entity/Asset Accountants and Accounts Payable. Treasury team. UK and International Tax team. Investor Relations. Compliance and Internal Audit. Other internal clients as needs dictate. Experience of managing tactical IT improvements within a financial shared service environment and an understanding of optimising end to end financial processes through the use of Oracle would be an advantage. This is a truly exciting opportunity for a unique individual to lead the development and implementation of a clear IT Accounting & Finance vision in a forward thinking fast paced organization. In addition, this role will be called upon to help with and deliver to other finance related projects and initiatives as business needs dictate. Based in Liverpool, Head Office in London and will interface with Accounting, Finance and IT staff across the globe. ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Working knowledge of the following systems: Oracle Financials R12, (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM), Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE & OBIA), Oracle Data Integrator, Hyperion. Strong programme management delivery and experience of systematic business process improvements. Strong experience and evidence of implementing strategic IT Finance programs that have achieved significant improvements in business efficiency, risk reduction or productivity. Implementing a shared service centre will be an advantage. Strong Experience with business relationship management. Must be results orientated with ability to achieve aggressive goals and have the ability to effectively work cross-functionally with and through business, IS managers and outsource partners. Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet challenging milestones. A global mind-set together with the ability to delve into and work with detail to achieve business results. Able to embed the highest levels of business control and compliance into IT systems. Able to represent the ISIT organization as part of the broader team. Experience of business reference models, the design and implementation of business processes. Expert Business Analysis and Consulting skills. Excellent Management, communications, negotiation and influencing skills. QUALIFICATIONS A minimum of Undergraduate degree with a technical discipline is required A Finance qualification is desirable but not essential.
